Peace Corps Week 2025

Join us for Peace Corps Week 2025, a celebration of service, global impact, and community. From February 24 to March 1, the Peace Corps Prep Program and the Paul D. Coverdell Fellowship Program, in collaboration with campus and community partners, will offer a variety of events and activities designed to engage, inspire, and connect.

Whether you're a student, current or prospective volunteer, alum, or simply curious about global service, we invite you to participate and learn how you can make a difference.

Peace Corps Week Events

Tuesday 2/25

College of Education Mixer 

Education is the biggest volunteer opportunity with the Peace Corps. Learn how an Education degree prepares you for service and can be leveraged to make you an outstanding applicant and volunteer! Join us to learn about the Peace Corps Prep and the Global Education Minor and how both programs prepare you to work with linguistically and culturally diverse populations

Time: 12 PM - 1 PM

Thursday 2/27

Peace Corps Fair 

At the Peace Corps Fair, you’ll have the chance to connect with returned volunteers who have served in a variety of countries. Hear firsthand stories about the challenges and rewards of life and work in communities across the globe. In addition, several partner organizations will be present to share more about their missions and how you can get involved with their impactful programs.

Friday 2/28

Service Project with Iskashitaa Refugee Network

Peace Corp Prep, Peace Corps Club, Coverdell Fellows, and Desert Doves will come together for a joint service project with Iskashitaa harvesting citrus fruit around town. 

Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Meet at Iskashitaa's Office at 3736 East 2nd St., then carpool to harvest location(s).
